Getting started
Heck of a Deal Handyman, Inc. began as a family-owned South Bay business in 2005. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: treat our clients, employees, and trade partners with respect, provide quality work, and make the remodeling and repair process as easy as possible for our clients.
Customer service comes first. We take pride not only in the finished project, but also in how we get there—clear communication, an organized jobsite, careful coordination, and respect for our clients’ homes.
Over the years, our work has grown from home repairs and improvements to larger residential remodels and commercial projects. Behind every project is a team coordinating clients, employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, schedules, and all the details that keep the work moving.
We’re proud to have built our business largely through referrals and long-term relationships with South Bay homeowners, real estate professionals, and repeat clients.

Behind the Scenes
Cyndi oversees the day-to-day operations that keep Heck of a Deal running smoothly, including client and employee communication, scheduling, payroll and benefits administration, employee onboarding, purchasing and procurement, invoicing and bookkeeping, vendor and subcontractor documentation, insurance and compliance records, and project coordination.
She also works directly with clients on design selections and materials, coordinating those decisions with vendors, subcontractors and our field team to help keep each project organized and moving forward.
From Repairs to Remodels
From everyday repairs to complete remodels and commercial improvements, we help our clients take projects from ideas to completion. Our team handles carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms, repairs, installations, electrical, and HVAC trades, finish work, and larger renovation projects-with the same attention to detail no matter the size of the job.

Matt oversees the construction side of Heck of a Deal, bringing decades of hands-on experience and practical problem-solving to every project. He works directly with our crews and subcontractors, manages the day-to-day work in the field, and makes sure each job is completed safely, correctly and with attention to detail.
As a licensed California General Contractor, Matt is involved from the initial estimate through the final walk-through. Whether it’s a small repair or a complete remodel, he believes in doing the job right and treating every client’s home with care and respect.
